Thumbprint Tree

Trace each kid's hand and arm onto brown paper and have them cut it out.  This is the trunk of the tree.  Then they glue it onto a light colored background.  Afterward, they press their thumbs into yellow, orange, and red paints to make fall leaves on the tree.  Ink pads would be even neater.
